At Ellenbrook Christian College, we believe in offering our Year 11 and Year 12 students the opportunity to explore practical, hands-on learning through Vocational Education and Training (VET).
What is VET?
VET programs offer practical, hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for the workforce while enabling them to earn industry-recognised qualifications. These programs are designed to equip students with skills and knowledge directly relevant to specific industries, helping them develop expertise in a variety of fields, from technical roles in construction and engineering to customer service, business, and healthcare.
In addition to providing job-ready experience and certifications, VET programs can contribute significantly to the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE):
VET courses offer flexibility, allowing students to study alongside traditional academic subjects and pursue both their career interests and educational goals.
